Congrats to our 2024 Graduates!

Jonah Da Silva (Biology and Renee Crown Honors Student): during his time here was awarded a SOURCE Research award and at Graduation was awarded A&S Jonathan Chayat Award, and Biology’s Research Achievement Award! Congrats Jonah and good luck at University of Michigan!

Jacqueline Dasoh Rim (Biology and Renee Crown Honors Student): during her time here was awarded a SOURCE Research award and at Graduation was awarded A&S Deborah Coquillon Memorial Award along with Biology’s Research Achievement Award! Congrats Jacqueline! Jacqueline was also our first honors student doing a BioArt Project!

Elijah Springer (Biotechnology): during his tenure in the lab Elijah was a McNair, LSAMP, and SOURCE scholar. At graduation Elijah was awarded Biology’s Research Achievement Award! Congrats Elijah and good luck in Graduate School!

Matthew Whaley (Biochemistry): during his tenure in the lab Matthew was a paid research technician helping us with everything zebrafish. He will be missed, but we are excited for his first rotation in the Welch lab in Syracuse University’s Biology Department PhD program! Matthew was awarded Biology’s Research Achievement Award.

Congrats everyone! We can’t wait to see all that you do!
