I had a great time talking about the role of cell division in tissue morphogenesis at the Biology Department at the University of Rochester yesterday! Not only did it bring back fond memories of my undergraduate research with Dr. Don Kane in the Biology Department but it was great to see how beautiful the campus is! In addition, I loved seeing Dan Bergstralh and his laboratory. Im so happy to have such a nice group of scientific neighbors.
Great Job to Alice Garrastegui (class of 2018, SU) and Michael Bates (Class of 2019, SU)!
Alice and Michael did a great job presenting their posters at Syracuse University this past Friday. Alice is a senior who won a Research Award on her work in our lab, and Michael is a junior. We are super proud of Alice and Michael, and wish Alice all the luck after graduation with her future endeavors!

Great Job to Erica Colicino!
Erica presented Lindsay Rathbun and her work on "Cytokinetic bridge triggers de novo lumen formation In Vivo" to the CNY Zebrafish meeting on Saturday and did a great job!
